Code 128: a practical code for warehouse labels
Code 128 encodes the full ASCII set and, when it holds only digits, packs them in pairs. It suits bin names, batch numbers and document numbers.
Goods going to retail still need the external EAN standard, so keep Code 128 for internal use.
