QR codes in the warehouse: when they beat barcodes
A QR code stores text, a link or several fields in one symbol and still reads when partly damaged. It works well for linking to a rack or equipment record.
For goods scanned often and in volume, a plain linear code is faster and cheaper, especially with older scanners.
